Partners from sites across the region participated in a fisheries communication workshop in Guam from June 13-15th.

The workshop brought together participants from Pohnpei, Yap, Chuuk and Guam as the final outcome of a project working in fishing communities in these jurisdictions.

The teams are designing messaging, graphics and communications materials to promote and communicate issues such as over fishing, climate change impacts on fisheries and species bans/size for catch.
The project was supported by funding from Saltonstall-Kennedy grant by the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) through MCT.
