What's New at MCT

MCT's staff Meileen Albert, Shirley Ann Pelep, and Jo Lynne JG. Mori, completed their visit (17-21 June) to Chuuk State.

• shared basic organizational financial management (i.e financial statements, external/internal financial reporting processes, unallowable/allowable costs, fix assets, recording, documentation, filing, etc.) and financial tools/templates with Chuuk Women’s Council (CWC), Island PRIDE, and Oneisomw Resource Management Committee (ORMC).
• conducted training on QuickBooks with CWC’s newly hired Finance Officer Ms. Nelinda Robert.
• worked with CWC on the expectations and requirements of their new project titled Oneisomw Climate Change Adaptation Agroforest Garden.
• conducted monitoring on the coral reef monitoring project that CWC and Chuuk Department of Marine Resources are currently implementing.
